If I write a one paragraph post on tumblr it doesn’t generate the <p> tag.
It really fucks with my theme. Even when I edit the html and put the tags in myself they don’t make it through processing. I suppose it’s a tumblr thing and I don’t know if it’s on purpost or not but it bugs me.
I’ve been just making some bs to push it to 2 paragraphs but I guess...

I just migrated the issue content on the web to Expression Engine. This caused some searching issues since the old CMS (content management system) was hand-made and uses a different database structure.
I needed to get all posts with the search query from the old CMS and from EE AND have them all listed in descending order by date. It’s that last part that really made it difficult.
