This is my first Gowalla trip. Dazed and Confused filming locations around Austin. There are a few more spots I could have included but I haven’t had the time to go out and create them in the Gowalla db. It’s pretty legit though. Check it out if you have the time.
In Japan, Amazon has started taking pre-orders for Super Mario Collection Special Pack. The company posted a product description, which appears to have been removed from the listing within minutes. The Google homepage is sporting a new logo that changes color as you type, and it’s likely a big hint as to what the company will announce at its “can’t miss” search event on Wednesday.
The Longhorn Hellraisers will be introducing UT students to some of the University’s oldest chants tomorrow, September 9th, at the Big Yell.
The event will be held from 5-7 at the Alumni Center on campus, and gives students a great opportunity to check out the Hellraisers, along with many other spirit groups, and to learn about some of the best and oldest UT traditions.

Tre’ Newton will get the start for the No. 5 Longhorns this week against Wyoming after scoring three touchdowns in Texas’ 34-17 season-opening win at Rice. Newton led the Longhorns with 61 yards on the ground.
